The endangered Bengal tiger is one of the top predators of the forest and grassland ecosystems. This project aimed to conduct conservation awareness programs for long term conservation of tigers in Nepal. We conducted school awareness programs and village group discussions to mitigate human-tiger conflict in Parsa-Chitwan Complex, Nepal.
Our specific objectives were:
- To understand the food behavior of tigers.
- To know the habitat suitability and movement ecology of tigers.
- To minimize the human-tiger conflict in Nepal's lowland.
